This year’s Grand Parade sees Babinda “Going Country”, not bad for a rural town! Bring out your props, deck your floats with dazzling decorations, and unleash your creative flair because this parade promises a riot of color, sparkle, wit and nostalgia.
Whether you’re a local business, community group, school, or organisation, the Grand Parade is your chance to shine in our vibrant town as we celebrate our town, our heritage, and our community.
Come rain or shine, the show must go on in true Babinda fashion, where every day in the tropics brings its own unique charm. We can’t wait to see you at Babinda’s most spectacular event of the year—the Grand Parade!

The 2025 Festival is being held on Saturday 6th September. We are asking for volunteers to help any time between Thursday 4th September through to Sunday 7th September. Any time you can contribute will be greatly appreciated. We also welcome any community members to join our Committee anytime.
