What are the events as part of the Royalty Quest?

There are three major fundraising events held through the Babinda Harvest Festival Royalty Quest.

Barefoot Bowls

– Sunday 21st June, 10am – 2pm

  • Dress as your favourite book character
  • $10 a player / pay at the door, cash or card
  • Register via SMS messages: 0477 108 342
  • Teams and Individual registrations welcome
  • Start time 11am
  • Food Van and Bar available
  • Raffle Tickets & 100’s boards to purchase
  • Prizes to be won

Garden Party

– Sunday 5th July 2026

  • St Rita’s School Babinda
  • Starts at 2pm.
  • $45 per person
  • Tables of 10 available, table bookings + individuals welcome
  • Ticket sales close Wednesday 24th
  • BYO Teacup

Cabaret Ball

– Saturday 29th August 2026

  • Babinda RSL hall
  • $40 per person
  • Live music
  • Basket cabaret – bring own food to share with your table
  • Bar available
  • Ticket sales close Friday 21st

On the day of

The Harvest Festival...

Entrants are involved in the annual Street parade, prior to the crowning on the Main Stage at the Babinda Harvest Festival, for:

Royalty Quest – Chosen for her general knowledge, personality, community contribution, compassion, charm and her ability to communicate effectively with people from all walks of life.   

Miss Community Spirit – Chosen as showing a real love for her community and having displayed outstanding fellowship and camaraderie during the Royalty Quest. Miss Community Spirit will have contributed to the community through volunteer work during the quest and hosted individual fundraising events.
