The Parade starts at 3pm, but don’t go home when it finishes. We have a whole festival full of fun at Bill Wakeham Park following the parade.
The official opening and crowning of the Babinda Harvest Festival Queen will be at 5.00pm.
Off street parking is available at the Old Babinda Mill Housing Estate. Enter Munro Street from Bruce Highway, turn right onto Mill Street and follow the signs.
Street parking is available, where possible, please ensure you allow locals access to and from their driveways.
Strictly no parking in Munro Street (Mill Street to School Street) between 1pm and 5pm.
Babinda Harvest Festival accept CASH and EFTPOS transactions. Cash will be quicker to get through the gate, or it is also preferable to pre-purchase your tickets for a faster entry.
Some market stall holders may accept cash only. Each market stall is an individual vendor and may not accept card payments. We suggest you check with the stall if you are wanting to purchase from them.
There is no ATM onsite. There are two ATMs in town. One is located at Community Bank Babinda (Bendigo Bank) and the other inside the Babinda State Hotel.
Our program is coming soon.
There are four sets of toilets at Bill Wakeham Park – amenities blocks are located near the tennis court (access to these toilets will be closed during fireworks), and past the grandstand toward the tractor pull. There are toilets underneath the green building (Babinda Boxing Club), and toilets located via the Babinda Community Shed, displays and competitions area.
There will be food and drink for sale by local community groups and food by licenced mobile food operators. Water is available for purchase from all vendors. Soft drinks are sold by local community groups and organisations. This supports local groups to fundraise for their organisation.
We utilise services from Category 5 First Aid. The First Aid will be at Anzac Park during the Grand Street Parade, then will enter the Festival grounds and be located at the rear of the field between the grounds and the tractor pull following the parade.
